Broiled Grapefruit


Ingredients:

  • 2 grapefruits, halved
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup low-fat plain or vanilla yogurt

Directions:

  1. Preheat broiler, with rack 4 inches from heat.
  2. Use a paring knife to loosen grapefruit segments from membranes and pith.
  3. Sprinkle grapefruit with sugar and half of the cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Broil on a baking sheet until edges are slightly browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Top with a dollop of yougurt, and sprinking remaining spices over top.
