Mashed Squash
Ingredients:
- 2 butternut squash, halved and seeded
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- Salt and Pepper
Directions:
- Bake squash in oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees, or until tender.
- Scoop out flesh of the squash and place in a large bowl.
- Add butter seasonings, and 1 Tbsp. brown sugar.
- Mash together until smooth and well combined.
- Place mashed squash onto plates and sprinkle remaining brown sugar over top.
