Cherry juice has been hypothesized to help reduce inflammation associated with arthritis. Cherry juice contains chemicals called antioxidants, which possess anti-inflammatory qualities. The antioxidants may help reduce the presence of uric acid and nitric oxide, which can contribute to inflammation and pain around the joints. Current research on the potential benefits of cherry juice is ongoing, and more research needs to be done before these claims can be fully substantiated.
