Amy Bragagnini, MS, RD, is a registered dietitian and consultant to Old Orchard Brands in Sparta, Michigan. She holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tri-State University in Angola, IN.
Amy is passionate about the role healthy eating and proper food choice play in weight management, preventative health and quality of life issues, and she practices what she preaches by maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. A former four-year collegiate athlete, she maintains her health by balancing frequent exercise with good nutrition habits, all while dealing with the realities of being a full-time-plus working professional.
Aside from her work with Old Orchard Brands, Amy works in a specialized role as an oncology dietitian for the Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her education makes her uniquely qualified to provide nutrition counseling for oncology patients that are undergoing active treatment for cancer. She recommends appropriate diet modifications and nutrition support in the form of a comprehensive medical nutrition therapy care plan. In addition, she leads bi-monthly classes on the role adequate nutrition can play in the successful prevention and treatment of cancer.
